A few Vita related updates.

The LittleBigPlanet Vita Beta is starting this week, I hope I get an invite!
Resistance Burning Skies came out yesterday. It's got some terrible reviews. I played the demo, and it feels like a pretty basic FPS, nothing too special, but nothing terrible. It would be nice for the novelty of having a handheld FPS, but I'll pass for now.
The Gravity Rush demo came out yesterday. It's really, really, cool.

So, Retro City Rampage comes out today on PC, PSN, and XBLA. I'm waiting for the PS Store to update (like always), so I can buy it. I'm so happy it's utilizing cross buy.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts about RCR after you get a chance to play it. Also, I'm hoping they will bring the game to 3DS. I wouldn't buying it for WiiWare, but I don't have as much time to sit down in front of the tv and play.

I just emailed Nintendo today asking for Wii VC -> 3DS compatibility. I think it's silly to buy the same game twice, especially when it's virtual content.

They aren't going to be compatible, all of the PS3Vita cross play stuff requires different versions, some games are even being developed by two developers (working together, but requires more people).

So it's all depending on whether or not Nintendo wants to do what Sony is doing.

It's not really cross play entirely, more just couldn't my account show up on 3DS and shows I have Super Mario Brothers 3 downloaded, then on Wii U or 3DS let's me hit download, and it downloads to that device? Not asking to be able to switch back and forth, just a version on that new device to play?

I don't really see how it could be difficult. Isn't it just mostly button mapping? I know the 3DS version has save states and such though. I thought it was mostly emulation of the retro titles.

Well, RCR is pretty great. It looks, sounds, and acts like a game fromt he 80s, but plays like a game from 2012. It doesn't have the frustration that's associated with retro games, but it does have all the charm. Definitely get it. Also, fun fact: the game is only 41MB. Not surprising, since it's built to run on NES hardware, but still funny that such an impressive game is so small.

I just got a PR email from the game creator, he sent me a Steam review code - sweet!

Ah so I should get mine on the 30th this month, pending no emergencies, god forbid. Anyway, what are some good games I should look into. Im getting the AC bundle, and will get Persona 4 Golden...I was thinking of Disgaea 3 Returns (but Ive already beat it on the ps3...) anything else?

Let us know how AC is, I'm curious about that. And considering how big of an Uncharted fan you are, aren't you gonna get that? I know it doesn't have multiplayer which is a big bummer, but I remember you loving the story in those games so I'm sure you'd like it on Vita.
