Gamestop started selling Wii U games this week. In fact, so did Walmart. I guess it just depends on the stores and when they get their shipments in. Of course, Greg and everyone else still has to wait to play until they pick up their consoles on Sunday.

I knew to pick it up since the employee told me (and Darkwish!) that this particular game would be available on November 13, along with all other weekly releases. So with that said, we both went to GameStop for our reservation. (His was in VA, mine in IL)

When I was there last night, (kinda funny!), they asked if I wanted my Wii U. I was like "Heck YEAH!!" Then the manager said it wasn't available yet (I then became a sad panda). Also, they asked if I wanted my other games. So I was like sure, if you got them why not. Nope, the other 3 games were not in (ZombiU, New Super Mario Brothers U and Sonic Racing Transformed [our contest prizes for Kid Icarus and Mariokart 7 tournaments]).

Yes I did, but I thought you could not pick them up yet.

Nice box, unfortunately ive not seen any in stores.

Got a 3Ds, LoZ, mario 3d land, new super mario 2 and I got sonic gem collection cause I'm a sucker for sonic, Yay finally got most of the series I want!

I got the series for the playstation 2, but the gamecube doesn't have the game gear games like the playstation version has or I would have got it, No offence to nintendo, but I got the Mega man series for Playstation as well.

My Wii U games have doubled! Now added in Black Ops 2 and Transformers.

I really need to invest in a wireless sensor bar. I spent about 2 hours Sunday night neatly tieing all my AC wires together so that they looked really clean. The sensor bar wire though just messes up the entire flow if my tv stand.

I actually have it tucked away inside the TV stand for now as I'm not using right now.


Also thinking about getting zombie u whenever possible......I've been hearing some really great things about, how it kinda feels like that old survival horror. I miss that.

I got one since my cat decided it didn't like my factory one. It's pretty good, just stinks having to change the batteries.

The sum of my black Friday gifts to myself. I know the pro controller had no sale, but got it since my wife was feeling guilty about 2 pairs of boots she bought. The above was less than $60 without counting the pro controller. I <3 Black Friday sales. I can deal with the crowds and lines to get things I really want.

I've never seen prices like that on Amazon. Else I would consider that. Part of it is that I enjoy the experience, it's time spent with the wife as well.

Amazon has tons of B1G1 deals on games/movies all the time. They also do lightning deals where various things are discounted for a limited time throughout the year. Not to mention most games are discounted by at least $5 from the shelf price shortly after release. With an Amazon Prime sub, you can get them next day for $4/item. If you shop on Amazon, you'll save about as much as you probably did today, just spread out over the year.

Plus, there are all the Black Friday deals on Amazon and other retailer websites.

I constantly get lucky on eBay too with great deals. Most of the deals I get are people posting there listing wrong. Or posting a low price and I get it as soon as its listed.


Picked up DKC Returns for the Wii platform, but of course me and my daughter will be playing it on our Wii U.

My daughter has actually wanted this game for like almost a year now, and finally they marked it down a decent price, $25 bucks. Which I thought was still a kind of high price, but then I thought about how fantastic this game is and I felt better. More nintendo club coins too.

Downloaded New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U eShop yesterday.

Also finally found some Power Rangers Megaforce items at Toys "R" Us today. Here's what I got:


I plan to pick up the remaining few Megaforce items later this week. Also ordered the Inficolor 3D glasses for use with Assassin's Creed III on Wii U, so looking forward to that. Those should be arriving today.

I never see the lightning deals advertised though. On joystiq they posted one, but all the games were ones I didn't want. At least BF had Kingdom Hearts 3D for a really good price. I also haven't seen any for DVDs (haven't gotten a Blu-Ray yet).

I got Kingdom Hearts 3D on sale too. ($20)

Lots of Bleach manga, anime (This Boy Can Fight Aliens (shonen ai), Bleach Hell Verse), Assassins Creed III, CE guide for it, and Little Big Planet Karting, and a volume of Bakuman.

I picked up White Knight Chronicles 2 yesterday, it also comes with a remastered WKC 1. $20. I also went halfsies with my dad on chinese. I love almond soo guy.
