I'd recommend looking on Amazon for the style you like, though. I got mine for under with free Prime two day shipping. Trist - That lunchbox! Sugoi! It would have been cool if the set included English translation of the novels, but I doubt they've been translated. if they had some with no laces id get since I need new shoes, hate laces, but nice, I saw the photo you have of them on facebook It would be nice to get more light novels, but I think that series is actually still ongoing in JPN at at over 12 volumes...

 Recent Purchase Thread
I bought the Plants vs. Zombies table on Zen Pinball 2 (PS3/Vita). All the other tables came in bundles of 4 at $10, but the PvZ table was $2.50, which I was willing to pay. I'm enjoying that quite a bit, plus it has PS3/Vita cross play.
I also bought Malicious on the PS3. It's a $10 downloadable title. It's a pretty unique game, that could be best described as a mix of MegaMan, Shadow of the Colossus, and Devil May Cry. It's all boss battles against huge enemies (SotC), but you can choose the order in which you fight them, as well as acquire their abilities when you defeat them (MM). The game is mostly hack and slash, with the ability to swap between various weapons (DMC). It's a pretty fun game, but it has a few issues. The camera can be a pain occasionally, and the lock-on system can be annoying, but overall, it's pretty cool. I'd recommend it.

 Re: Recent Purchase Thread
Just went out and picked up a used copy of ExciteBots Trick Racing for the Wii. I remember playing this a couple of years ago and having a pretty good time, so I figured I'd pick it up for $7.99. I was also looking for SSX Blur, they have it for $2.99, but they didn't have any copies in stock.

 Re: Recent Purchase Thread
SSX Blur is terrible. It was one of the first games I had for my Wii. It's just a stripped down version of SSX3 with some crappy motion controls tacked on that don't work half the time.

Well I've never played any of them before, so I figured for 2.99 I should add it to my collection. The videos for it look pretty cool, although the reviews all stated that the motion controls weren't always dependable.

I recommend Tricky or 3 if you have a GameCube controller laying around.

If you're not an extremely dedicated SSX fan, Blur was ok. I enjoyed it enough. For $2.99, that's not bad at all. However, I agree that there are far greater SSX games, including Tricky and 3!

 Re: Recent Purchase Thread
Xun, pronounced "sheen", a Chinese wind instrument. I picked it up at an international expo at the university. I also tried bubble tea for the first time, and a Japanese beef and rice dish called gyudon.
Add to this a couple bamboo bookmarks and a hanzi (that's what kanji are called in Chinese, right?) scroll thing-deal for decoration.
All in all, I spent too much money today.

Yes, I think the broth made all the difference. It didn't taste like anything I had ever tried.
Why don't many Japanese restaurants have these unique flavors? Miso and sushi are about as exotic as you can get at the restaurants around here.

They have a full menu of dishes that aren't sushi, and a separate sushi menu. I particularly like that, because I don't like sushi.
