I know not alot of people buy them anymore, but I picked up two that wern't very expencive and I know most places faze them out so I wandered if anyone has purchased any game cube games as of recently? About as bad as the GBA games there will be a point were there will be no way to buy them anymore.

Since wii is backwards compadable do people still buy the older gamecube games? I try to buy a mixture of both old and newer games to keep my wii optional for more stuff to play. So I ask others, are there games that you would still buy even if they were GameCube? Post, comment and leave post about topic have fun!

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but I recommend Eternal Darkness for the GameCube! It's an awesome game, so if you can find it, grab it! You won't be disappointed.

Other than that, no, I do not normally pick up GCN games, unless it is one I REALLY wanted and then find it for cheap...but I've not ran across that yet. However, if I did, I would get it.

Anyway, I recently (last year, actually... but I don't buy games often) bought Battalion Wars and Legend of Zelda: Master Quest.

I have been trying to find 007: Nightfire for the GCN for a long time now (can't order it online, long story). I found it used at a GameStop for only $7 but when I took it to the register, turns out the game box was there by accident and they didn't have it, so I was pretty angry. I played it quite a bit with my sisters back in the day and it was great.

Yeah, that game is great. My neighbor has it for PS2 and we play it every once in a while. I've been looking for that too.

I do. I've posted a while back that I bought Star Fox: Adventures and Wind Waker, and I'm trying to find a copy of F-Zero GX (had it, its gone, long story.), and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

P.N.03 was a great gamecube game. I've always wanted to get my hands in Igurga but it's about 100 bucks now.

The last gamecube game I bought was Yugioh The FalseBound Kingdom, it was a bargain for just $2.50 from Amazon!

I never had a 'Cube, so I took advantage of cheap games a couple years into my Wii lifecycle when new releases started to slow down! The first one I got was Paper Mario and the Thousand-Year Door. I also bought Wind Waker, Tales of Symphonia (Which is freakin' long) and Crystal Chronicles! Awesome stuff :D

I buy them every chance I get, i'ts one of my favorite consoles of all time.

Wow, OLD topic. But it's interesting enough that I'll bite. I picked up a few GCN games a year or so ago, Mario Sunshine being the most important. I've been wanting to pick up a copy of Custom Robo to play again, too.

Last one I got was Thousand Year Old Door, and still haven't played it yet (about 4-5 years ago). But I'm thinking I may at some point soon. Depends when the Wii U game drought comes along.

Don't remember the last GCN game I bought... But I don't think I have bought one since the Wii released. I tend to not go back and buy older games, unless they are for "legacy/retro" systems. Once the next gen console comes out, I tend to move on with it, thinking the past gen isn't as good anymore. In fact, I was already there with the Wii long before the Wii U came out.

I got this game! Honestly, I don't remember how or where or when anymore since it's been a while. I think maybe I did find it at a GameStop or something.

As for any GCN games I'd buy... probably wouldn't buy any GCN disks anymore, but I'd definitely be down to download some GCN Virtual Console titles on Wii U if that happens.
