Nintendo is working on a large DLC pack for New Super Mario Bros. U that involves alternate versions of the game’s 80+ stages. After downloading, players can switch between New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U stages.

wewww. 80 plus stages remade? I hope that's not going to effect the price of the DLC. Hopefully nothing over 7 or 8 bucks.

I see it like $40. Because it will essentially be a "new game" since all 80 levels will be new. Basically probably leaving in the music, world map, boss fights etc, just new levels. I do not see this any less than $20 for sure though. They did 3 courses for $2.50, so I rounded it to 81 courses and at this model it would cost $67.50. So there's a chance it might be a full game? Or I see it as closer to $30-$40 since it shares a lot of the same game as NSMB U.

All I know is people expecting it to be free or cheap will be in a for a big surprise.

Yea, it's probably going to have a hefty price... but it's such massive DLC. This is pretty neat of Nintendo though. Rather than release games that may just be considered "expansions", they just release said expansion as DLC. I'll probably get this since Luigi is great, but might not be at release date... still haven't played much of NSMBU as is.

Yeah, I imagine it will be a higher price too. Still not sure if I will get it or not. Depends on the price and what else is going in when it releases.
