 Re: Nintendo TVii
Whelp, I won't be using it much. We don't watch live TV anymore, only programs off the DVR. It appears this app does not function with DVRs yet: Quote: We’d love to have DVR integration but we can’t do that without assistance. We’re in discussions to cover that time-shifting portion.

 Re: Nintendo TVii
We only use OTA broadcast (rabbit ears), so I don't believe this will be of any help to us. However, my parents have Comcast...I wonder if I can get their username and password and use it here? Will Nintendo TVii allow me to do that?

 Re: Nintendo TVii
I don't have a DVR, so that "missing" functionality doesn't really affect me at all.
Not sure how TVii will integrate cable/satellite. Our landlord pays for our DirecTV, though, so I don't have a username/password.
I'm just excited for all the 2nd Screen stuff and MiiVerse integration. Too bad I won't have much time to play with it since we're traveling for the holidays.

Nope, you can get free HD over the air, as a matter of fact. You just need a digital tuner and a powerful enough antenna.

 Re: Nintendo TVii
Looking forward to this! From what I understand, like I have Verizon FiOS... I think I just have to enter my username and password and it'll connect to my cable box. Something like that. I think it'll be useful to be able to access IMDB and Wikipedia for shows, so that'll be nice. If it's easy enough to use, I may just use it to control my TV all the time. And most of all, how it creates moments from shows with screenshots that you can comment on... that'll be awesome. So I'm looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it works.
