Upon recommendations from Darkwish, Hattrick and JHARDIN1112, I went ahead and bought this beauty last night. I had a little left over from the eShop card, and I redeemed my $5 coupon from NSMB U. This game is so much fun, it's like a 3D Galaga or something. Simple controls and super fun. I love how you can be ranked with your friends.

I've got sad news for JHARDIN as I passed both of your Epsilon and Zeta scores last night. Which means I also passed Mickey's. I'm only behind DarkWish by like 100k now (on Epsilon).

How have we not talked about this on the forums yet!? Oh well, glad there is a thread now.

Still at the top of Epsilon (for now). I keep trying to increase my score, but I've not been able to beat it yet -- only get really close. I did beat Omicron last night, which wasn't that difficult, but it just took a long time and patience. It is more about dodging properly and shooting accurately at that point. I like how the shop plays a factor in strategy as well. Do I spend my "money" or save it for something else more helpful later?

I also went and played through Epsilon in Arcade modes and got on the top leader board for both 3 and 4. In fact, I was (last time I checked) at 112 or something for 4. That was pretty cool.

Yea, it's definitely addicting and trying to beat each other's scores is fun. Omnicron is quite hard! But I'll have to try and tackle that again later. Once finals are over, I'll be back at this, trying to beat my scores.

I posted on Miiverse I am now the owner of the #1 High Score slot for both Epsilon, and Zeta. Take that Hattrick! Challenge accepted :)

Also, I don't know why God was on my side, but I managed to beat Omicron. That first level is just nuts. Even though I had 0 lives left, I was able to beat stages 2-4 on the first try. You just start so underpowered on that level. The boss almost got me, but I had purchased an extra life after the 2nd level.

I started Sigma and it started off easier. I was able to beat the first level no problem, the second was a little tougher, beat it also on the first try. The 3rd level is rough on that one and lost there.
