okay. So i've heard that both are good games. However, I've heard that kid icarus is hard to control and that mario kart 7 gets boring. One of my friends has both of them but I've never really have paid attention. I'm planning to buy one of these so that I can play online and with my friend. And yes. I do have internet. So please tell me which one will enertain me more?

MK7 never gets boring.

Mk7 gets a little boring. I'd say kid Icarus gives you much more enjoyment for a longer period of time. The controls for kid Icarus really are not very though.

I got a little bored with Mario Kart 7 after I first got it. Then, I met some friends who also had it and we play each other all the time now. They took me to a tournament where I placed 3rd and got a sweater as a prize. I'm kinda addicted to it now. I've only played the first level of Kid Icarus and it was really awesome. The controls were a bit tough, but I got the hang of it really quick. I'm sure people are pros online already but you'd be able to catch up. If I had to choose, I'd go with the sweater. But who knows, maybe with Kid Icarus you'll one day win some oven mitts. One can only dream.

That aside, as a player of both, my vote is MK7. That's probably because I'm better at it due to the series longevity. Kid Icarus is a wonderful game and easy to sink in hundreds of hours also, but maybe since I don't quite understand the weapons and how to use some of them that I feel it gets old faster. I like to change things up when I play any multiplayer game, and I have no beef picking a new a racer or kart combination and trying it out. I have tried out other weapons, but I feel like I just get owned. I don't quite get a chance to practice with the weapons, since the training range and before battle dummy don't really allow you to fully experience the weapon. You just hit targets that don't fight you. Sure you could load story mode, but you've already played the chapter a dozen times and know where the enemies are on the difficulty you can barely beat it at.

If you're planning to buy strictly based on what has better online play I'd say go for MK7. I spend way more time online with MK7 than I do with Kid Icarus: Uprising. In fact, I've only played Uprising online a handful of times. However, if you want a far more immersible single player experience with loads of replay value I'd say go with Uprising. Both are great games and you should eventually give both of them a shot if you ever get the option.
