I got to go in Austin, even though I live like 45 minutes away.

My experience was ok, didn't really get to play with the Gamepad....only like two minutes on that Donkey Kong inspired puzzle game where you tilt the pad to get you little car or whatever it is to the bottom of the level.......I think it was on NintendoLand.......

The sword play on the Zelda mini game on NL was really run, you and up to 3 others try to advance further by using your sword and shield to battle enemies and I think one person holds the pad to use the bow and arrow I think.....???

Anyways, the event was cool but cut short for some reason, they said we would have 2 hours to play and they cut it short right at one hour and thirty minutes, I was a little ticked.


Anybody else go in their town or close to their town?

I know DarkWish and Gamer_Greg did and DarkWish posted his experience in a different topic a few weeks ago. Gamer_Greg is out of town, so he might respond till next week, although I think he posted elsewhere as well. Trying searching in the Wii U thread if you're interested.

Yea, like Jeremy said, Greg and I went to some events. He went to the one in Chicago and I went to the DC one.

I was also kinda peeved about that. Advertised for 2 hours, but shut down after 90 minutes. Ah well...
