People of NintendoFuse. Iḿ really exited for this tournament,but there is something kind of worrying me. Does anybody know any way to make Mario Kart 7 online a bit more... stable? Sometimes I can race twenty times consecutively and sometimes only 2. I once read in a webpage about changing some of the routers settings, but I forgot. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

First, some questions...
1) What type of internet do you have? (cable, DSL, Satellite, MyFi)
2) What type of router do you have? (B, G, N)
3) What kind of speeds have you been getting? (speedtest.net)
4) Is this internet signal used by anyone else other than those in your household?

Some simple steps for better performance:
1) Make sure your router firmware is up to date by logging in and doing an update check.
2) Make sure your signal is encrypted by something like WPA.
3) Make sure your router channel is set to 1 or 11 for a 2.4 GHz signal. A 5GHz signal won't matter as much.
4) Make sure your router is in a good location where the signal strength is great in the area you want to connect/play.
5) You could also assign a static IP for your 3DS.

Alright, now the requirements are re-finalized. Since the community doesn't prove anything, I removed it. It is now back to the picture. But I did add a side option. You can race me, then I will definitely get the spotpass Mii. I also added in a list of steps to add the picture if you want to do it yourself. I will be going through the list of contestants asking that they start to get it ready since I don't want it to be the week before and having so many problems.

I also plan to have a Mariokart 7 night this week.
