This game looks innocent, it looks cute, it looks childish, but it is the spawn of the devil himself. It is taking the Internet by storm as the enraged masses attempt to beat a children's game. There will be blood, if only on your knuckles and your shattered monitor.

Protip: You can level up by clicking on the bottom right button of the stage select menu. The first stat increases your hitting power, the second makes it easier to hit the ball (or so I am told), and the third makes Pooh move faster.

With no further ado, Pooh's Homerun Derby.

Stage 4 so far with longest HR as 146.7m. Will update as I go. Not gonna lie... I'm kinda scared.

Ah, you're at Kanga and Roo... that's when the nasty tricks begin. It only gets worse.

Good/bad news: The game saves your progress. This means that you can quit whenever you want. It also means that you will be drawn back to it over and over until you complete it.

Whew.. That was close. I beat stage 4 in the first try. Got my 12th one on the last pitch. Longest HR is now 149.9. I'm also at power-up levels of 6, 6, & 5... whatever they mean.

You're doing good! It was a while before I discovered the power-ups - believe me, they help.

That puts you at Rabbit. I'm on Owl, the next one. After him is Tigger, and then (I think) Christopher.

Rabbit was actually easier than Kanga & Roo for me. I liked his pitching style. Got the needed amount with 3 or 4 pitches to go.

It was the other way around for me - Kanga and Roo were much easier. But, then again, I made about half of my attempts at Rabbit without any power-ups. The speed stat really helps.

Stupid Owl! Ha! Most I've gotten on his level is 13 out of 19 needed. Grrr...

I got 18/19 once, and 17/19 once... but I am having trouble getting there!

I think the first and second stats are the most helpful here.

I'm quitting for now.

Oh, one thing that isn't immediately obvious: you have to hold down the mouse button; a simple click isn't enough.

Grrrr...! That owl is ridiculous! The closest I've got so far is 17.

In other news, I'm up to levels 12, 12, & 13 with my longest HR at 168.8m and my longest streak at 5.

Quick question... If I close it down altogether and then open it later, will I have to start over?

So far, Piglet has given me the most trouble. And that gameplay footage is hilarious.

The owl is down! Now for T-I-Double Guh-ER, which of course spells "ABANDON ALL HOPE".

Still haven't beat Owl. The best I've done is 17, still, which I've gotten several times. Grrr...
