Lotta Steam games. Prince of Persia, They Bleed Pixels, Half Minute Hero, Awesomenauts, AC: Brohood, and Far Cry 3. Spent like a total of $60 on those.

I purchased a new TV for my room. 39" LED, 1080p, 60hz. I got that for $300, as well as a 160GB PS3 for $200. Saved $100.

I just picked up Half-Minute Hero, as well as Portals 1 and 2, from Steam for $18! gotta love those sales!

Purchased Gunman Clive and Fluidity: Spin Cycle on 3DS.

Purchased a used copy of Mass Effect 3: Special Edition for the Wii U. I am looking forward to playing this game. I watched several Let's Play videos on YouTube and the game looks it would be a good game to play and quite interesting.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it!

Nope, I have not played any other entry in the series. I actually never had interest in the game, until I read several reviews and watched some Let's Play videos. I really think and hope that I will like this game.

There is an interactive comic included in the game which helps catch you up (from what I read) on the events of 1 and 2. So, from what I have read and what I understand, yes it is possible to jump into 3 without foreknowledge of the prequels.

Based what I heard, they have a summary of the first 2 games within this one or something. And it followed a generic choice path or something. I'm still hoping for the trilogy set, and IMO is the one that should have launched. They obviously had it in the works. I would think it would have sold better to giving the options to play all 3.

I downloaded Terraria off of Steam for $2.50 during the sale... It's 2D Minecraft, but I'm still not sure if I like it or not. I love Minecraft, so I thought for sure that I would like this, but I may have to spend a bit more time with it.

I've also been considering picking up Ace of Spades during the sale (I must be on some kind of Minecraft kick lately). Maybe I'll cave before the sale's over!

Got Ballon Fight using the Wii U Famicon promotion. Actually a very hard little game. Really tests your balance. I like it.

I also picked this one up, but also on the day of the Nintendo Direct. I had it from the Ambassador Program on the 3DS, I never played or owned the original. It's not bad, if they had online leaderboards or something it would be perfect, but not seeing this being added in though. I like I can still screen cap the high score, but with all other posts, it gets buried in the feed. I think only I saw a few that had higher scores than mine (364,000ish) in the standard mode. I did see some people complete the Balloon Run.

So, I guess you got all of it used if it only cost $300?

I picked up a 3DS XL on sale for $160. The buttons feel way better than the ones on 3DS, the hinges feel slightly sturdier, the screens are gorgeous (and DS games, Ambassador games and 3DS games all look far superior on it). If it weren't for the fact that the top screen has a yellow-ish tint to it, I would have no complaints. I looked it up, and apparently it's not a big enough issue to be considered a factory defect. Has anyone else had this problem, or do Nintendo products just seem to hate me? (My Wii U bricked and I had to send it in twice, and my Wii sounded like a chainsaw whenever there was a disc in the drive).

Awesome about the XL, sucks about the yellowish tint. I either don't have it, or haven't noticed it.

Was it used? It doesn't sound like it from your post, but I don't know. That's just pretty weird.

No, it was new. I looked it up, and other people have had the same problem. I might see if Best Buy will let me exchange it, but I doubt they would let me do the System Transfer in-store...

You should ask them. Gamestop let me transfer my DS lite to DSi in store when I got it.
