GGs. Can I race you tommorow?

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. Sounded like fun.

There was 7 to start, then 5-7, then 5 for a while, then 4 for a while, then it disbanded.

Started with Mnemosy, his friend Issiac, LK9T9 (Prof3ssor MGW), KirbyisAwesome (Samuel), Sambit (Slam), Darkwish (Hassan), myself. Then the next GP added in NoahDP and I think Anthonie was in one as well, but with Samuel having disconnection issues he was in for a race then out.

By the end, it was Mnemosy, LK9T9, Slam, Hassan and I. Darkwish then had to attend to other things and the 4 of us continued for a few more GPs. It ended at about 9:45pm EST.

Had some really good matches. I had some lucky draws when I knocked Hassan out of 3rd and he ended up in last. I think it was on Cheep Cheep level. I also had some good Spiny's taking out Mnemosy. One of the best was on the Pinball when I took the lead after a spiny hit near the finish tunnel, but he followed me and stole a boost to pass me for the win.

So basically I used this oppertunity to see if I could use a secondary car (which is why I switched karts after every set) & I learned that it's best to just stick with what your comfortable with. The last 2 sets (using my normal kart combination) I atleast continued to get 2nd most of the time, so I'll just make a small adjustment to my current combo & hopefully that'll get me the win!

I was trying out the glitch and realized he races quite well, so I was doing pretty well with him. When it was down to the 4 of us, I wanted to be different, so changed back to Yoshi and wasn't doing so hot. Might have been the affect of playing so many times, or maybe I just got super unlucky. I also tried out Mnemosy's kart combo for the very last few GPs and wasn't doing the best either (no I won't give it out!).

I had PMed all finalists about the time tomorrow. Nothing has changed since then.

Basically the session is 4-6 PM EST, code to be sent out about 3:55pm EST (per the norm). Same rules apply, WAIT for everyone, JOIN the chat. It is a single community with 8 players, top 2 from 4 communities last week. I understand if all 8 won't be in a single group, but those that have made it this far are the majority and use the chat provided:

I've regularly seen about 5-6 of the finalists using it in the prior 2 rounds, it greatly enhances your opportunity to join the next GP if you disconnect or join late. I understand if you are unable to join, but keep that in mind. It's much harder to coordinate in this topic or over PMs. The chat is instantaneous.

Sorry, but tomorrow is the finals and we are not taking new contestants. You will be considered if we have another one in the future (which is almost guaranteed based on the success of this one).
