Re: Yoshi's Land U Wrong title. It's "Yoshi's Land" (not Island) for Wii U. IGN was wrong and I was the one that corrected them actually, so they changed it.
Anyways, I believe this is true for multiple reasons. When Wii U launched, someone on NeoGAF managed to stumble upon some hidden Miiverse debug area, which Nintendo later confirmed was for testing purposes. They found mention of Yoshi's Land Wii U, which was interesting. Some of the people in the debug area (either admins or developers or some people of importance) made mention of some game announcements coming December 10th. They also mentioned the new Miiverse communities would open up on December 20th. That was suspicious enough and then Future Shop and Best Buy went and put up product listings for Yoshi's Land, complete with descriptions of the game (and two different descriptions even, though both similar).
So I'm leaning towards this indeed being the real deal. And if so, we may find out in about two weeks.

Re: Yoshi's Land U At first I said no, but with the recent retailer listings and stuff, it seems to be more definite. I'm guessing we'll hear more soon.
I'm wondering if it's a Yoshi's "Is"land type of game, or if this is something new? Obviously no one knows, but any speculation would be cool to discuss in the meantime.

Re: Yoshi's Land U So this turned out to be true, as I thought. Or well, at least... there was a Yoshi game for Wii U announced, but no name given. I think Yoshi's Land could fit this game as a title. I guess we'll have to wait and see on that. But the game looks good and I can't wait for it!

I also can't wait for this game, I love Yoshi games. They didn't say, but considering we got some brief gameplay footage already, I'd expect at least a new trailer and probably something playable.
