Post Hyrule Warriors [Tentative title]
I saw this and almost thought it was the new game. Then I did realize it was a completely new game in addition to Zelda U. It looks like Link is going brawler in this one and I would love to play this.

Anyone else have thoughts on this? I cannot wait until this releases!

I didn't really ever get into Dynasty Warriors, but this seems cool. I really really hope they allow for online co-op!!

This.

I've always loved the action part of the Zelda games the most, so this is exactly what I have wanted. Thank you Nintendo!

Seems like Nintendo wants to compete with hack and slash games like God of War. This actually seems like a smart move because it will also keep Zelda fans entertained as well as newcomers. People always complain that Nintendo uses the same old franchises but fail to realize the risks and new directions they take within their existing franchises. Hyrule Warriors and Kirby' s Epic Yarn are both examples of this. Would it be nice to see a new Nintendo IP? Yes. But for the most part I like what they already have. Now if only Metriod and F ZERO could get some love.

I haven't played many hack n' slash games before, but I'm quite interested in this. Perhaps it'll be a good entry point for the rest of the Dynasty Warriors series, despite the mixed things I've heard about the franchise.

I'm excited since it will play somewhat like the Wonderful 101 with swarms of enemies except we get to be Link. I don't mind these games most times, so this was a wonderful surprise. Definitely so far a day one purchase.

Do the Dynasty Warriors games have different playable characters? If so, that would be a cool feature for Hyrule Warriors. I'd rather kill bokoblins by beating them up with Groose over a scarfed Link any day.

That or maybe with Zelda or Sheik would be awesome too.

All I know is it's Zelda related & I want it. So yea; shut up Nintendo & take my money & all that jazz. :P

What I thought of was that the game announced could have also been a cross between Fire Emblem and the zelda-verse. That would be so epic. ^^

I guess we won't be hearing about this game again until E3. I keep hoping for a new trailer or something but it's looking like that won't be the case. Makes me wonder if Zelda U will actually be unveiled at E3.

Interesting! I need a reason to buy a Wii U, and something Zelda-related might work for me.

Wind Waker HD and a bunch of VC Zelda titles won't do it for you?

Aside from the HD part, I already have all of those :p They have Earthbound now, but that's a bit too little, too late. I had already replaced the button cell in my Earthbound cartridge long before that was announced.

Smash Bros. might do it as well, but we still don't have a definite release date for that.

Yea, SirVenom's a bit too picky to just settle for any old Zelda title, he wants-es the new Zelda stuffs(as well all do)! xp

I was wondering; what exactly is the Dynasty Warrior's franchise like anyway? Some one on another site commented that it's a hack & slash fighting series & if that's the case Hyrule Warrior's will probably be a game with Link in it that I'll most likely miss getting. :p

So there was a bit more info revealed on this last week. It's also going to be at E3. Nice to see that it won't be entirely like the Dynasty Warriors games and that there will still be a lot of concepts carried over from the Legend of Zelda series. I've seen a lot of people on Miiverse wondering where it will be in the Timeline. I don't really care much as long as its a good game.

When I first saw Hyrule Warriors, I thought it was stupid. I thought they were gonna try to give it to us as the new Zelda. I'm a big Zelda fan, so I was really upset. Then I saw the videos from E3. This game looks awesome and I can see it eventually being a new series. I can't wait till it comes out.

I saw they said it is not main series, thus, it is not part of the timeline.

I'm still pretty excited, but I heard some valid points on impressions with it being that the gameplay may get stale since it's like the same thing over and over again. So I will see when more info is released on the game. It'd be ideal to have a playable demo.

Yeah, I saw that it wasn't going to be part of the timeline either. I've seen people saying that this could become its own series, which I think would be kind of cool. Seeing all the characters from different games makes me think that this will be a lot like Goldeneye Rouge Agent where it takes a lot of characters and concepts from a universe and makes it own original story outside of the preexisting canon. I played through a few missions of one of the Dynasty Warriors games back in college with my old roommate and it wasn't a bad experience. I am looking forward to playing through this. Also it's great to see Midna again and playable no less.
