 Nintendo Land
So this game is included in the Deluxe set... who is getting it? I'm getting it with the Deluxe set, but would have bought it regardless. Out of the multiple games I played on Wii U when I tried it in DC, Nintendo Land was the highlight for me. And my concern about there not being enough single player content is gone after seeing the list of games. Here they are...
Single Player: - Yoshi's Fruit Cart - Takamaru's Ninja Castle - Donkey Kong's Crash Course - Captain Falcon's Twister Race - Octopus Dance - Balloon Trip Breeze
Multiplayer: - Mario Chase - Luigi's Ghost Mansion - Animal Crossing Sweet Day
Single and Multiplayer: - The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest - Pikmin Adventure - Metroid Blast
Great list of games! Honestly I think Nintendo didn't do that great of a job demoing it at E3... seemed okay, but I wasn't totally into it. But after actually playing it, it just clicked and I'm really excited for it. The new stuff revealed like Pikmin Adventure looks great as well! This will be the first game I play on Wii U.

 Re: Nintendo Land
I was only set to get it if it was a pack in, which it is! I have lots of games to port over from my Wii, I will be buying digital titles, and plus that promotion sounds interesting. So the deluxe was a no brainer for me.
I don't know how often I will be playing the multiplayer games, but it will be nice to have a game with the console.
The Metroid one they demoed looked pretty cool. I also wanted to try the Donkey Kong Crash Course and the Legend of Zelda Battle Quest.

Both Darkwish and I got to "preview" it at a special event in our neighborhoods. There was a "Experience Wii U" going around after E3 that Nintendo offered to Club Nintendo members.

Nintendo Land looks like a real nice party game. Local play looks like a blast.

Those events already happened. Those are links to what we thought when we went to them. So they're of course over now. I sent you the links so you could read what we thought of Nintendo Land and other games.

 Re: Nintendo Land
It's a great game for the family, or to play alone. The multiplayer games are great and I like some of the single player games, like Donkey Kong crash course.

 Re: Nintendo Land
I just beat level 1 in crash course. Got to level 2 and was like OMG. I didn't think there was a level 2. This crash course game is my favorite, and I still haven't played 8 of the games yet...

 Re: Nintendo Land
Here are my thoughts on the 12 minigames...
- Yoshi's Fruit Cart: Interesting game. Really makes you use both screens and while it starts off a bit easy, it very quickly picks up the challenge. - Takamaru's Ninja Castle: Nice easy demo of what the GamePad is capable of, though it gets kind of boring after a while. But a neat little diversion on occasion. - Donkey Kong's Crash Course: Pretty challenging, but addicting. You really have to be careful and when you lose, it just makes you want to try again. I finally got to Area 10 of the first level and that took many tries. - Captain Falcon's Twister Race: Eh, nothing too special. Gets pretty challenging as it goes on, but I don't care too much for this game. - Octopus Dance: Played this the least so far of the other games, only played it like once. What I did play was interesting, but kind of boring. Need to play more to see how this is. - Balloon Trip Breeze: Definitely quite challenging but fun. The music is awesome and keeps me going, and I really have to use both screens to coordinate flying through the levels. Liking this much more than I was expecting. - Mario Chase: Pretty simple but so much fun. There's nothing like the thrill of having others chasing you and getting so close multiple times and you narrowly avoiding being caught. Nice and easy to understand as well. - Luigi's Ghost Mansion: Another really fun game that involves lots of coordination with the people you're playing with. - Animal Crossing Sweet Day: The best multiplayer fun I've had with Nintendo Land. So much yelling and laughing and have a great time with my family on this. Definitely requires some teamwork and it can get rather intense. Lots of fun. - The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest: Only done the single player with the GamePad and it's pretty fun. Gets challenging as well. Need to play more of this. - Pikmin Adventure: Another awesome multiplayer game, though in a cooperative manner. Played through some levels with my sisters working together and had a great time. - Metroid Blast: Played both solo and multiplayer. Solo is lots of fun with the GamePad and can get challenging. I really like the controls for this game, it works really well and just feels nice. The multiplayer adds in a nice extra layer of teamwork and I can fly around my sisters on the ground and other stuff, it's really neat.
All in all, I'm really liking this game. On my own, there's enough here to keep me entertained. And with others, this game truly shines. My top 3 (in no order) are Animal Crossing Sweet Day, Pikmin Adventure, and Metroid Blast.
