Post Nintendo Announces Pokémon X and Y for October 2013

This morning, Nintendo announced a new Nintendo 3DS game. For those who have been waiting on a new Pokémon game, you only need to wait nine months longer. This October, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will come to the 3DS with a brand new set of starters, a new world, and new graphical style. Out are the old sprites, and in are the new three-dimensional Pokémon. Starters include Fennekin (fire), Chespin (grass), and Froakie (water). There is also a couple new legendaries, who are a stag and bird, respectively.


Will you be picking up (or possibly downloading) the new Pokémon X or Y this October?

TOTTALY BYING THIS. but i dont know how to feel about taking away my old fashioned sprites though.

yea all the sprites are cool but it will fun to try something new

Like in game region? Or like the actual game region? The second question I can answer, it will be available globally in October, so the region would be the US for us.

We don't know yet. It's based on France apparently, but we don't know the name of it yet.
