 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Gah! A thousand curses on NOA! I forgot about the GBA Ambassador surveys, which were necessary for my platinum status. Thanks to the quick expiration that surveys now have, they expired mere days ago.

DarkWish wrote: Also, I hit Platinum the other day! FOUR YEARS IN A ROW! With all the surveys I still have left, plus the couple of games I bought recently, plus Wii U... I'm basically guaranteed for Platinum next year as well. Awesome! I hit that in August! I'm also 4 years in a row. Each year was quicker than the year before. Should be interesting for next year, I'll only have Mario Tennis Open on the backlog.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
WARNING WARNING! A lot of point values will be changing on 7/1. If you have ANY surveys not completed, they will be updated to the new value. Most games are going down, particularly the eShop VC games. All post play surveys will now be 10 (some were 20). Other notable differences is that 3DS games are going from 30 to 40 (no mention if they are already completed). Games like Kid Icarus Uprising, Mario 3D Land and Mariokart 7. Nintendo Select games are going from 50 to 20. https://club.nintendo.com/coin-values.do

Arg!!!!!!
They FINALLY add the Golden Nunchuck, and I can't afford it and probably not until Wii U hits.
900 Coins!! Holy cow. Wish I could use Play Coins or coins from NSMB 2.

I want that and the t-shirt.. :( I need like 400 or 500 coins to get the Nunchuck. Well I could register Mario Party 9 and get 60, and I'll be registering NSMB 2, so I'll get 60 (intent to buy + 40 + 10 post play). My dad had ordered it, so I'm doubting he ordered the download code, although I should check with him to verify.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
YES!!! Ordered the Gold Nunchuk!!! Now THAT is the type of reward I save my coins for.
I had exactly half the amount needed, so I did some surveys I had sitting around and found like 6 or 7 Wii and DS games I never had registered. So made it to 900 coins with a bunch of 10 coins post-play surveys to spare. Should hit Platinum super easy with 3DS XL.

I feel stupid for ordering that Messenger bag and that Game & watch game a while back :(. I can only add about 100 in the next week or so with Mario Party 9 and NSMB 2.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Gold Nunchuck is sold out... I hear it's quite a catch on eBay for like $80.
Darn, I may have been close come Sunday.

Darn, I may have been close come Sunday. Grrr. I knew I should have acted faster. I was surprised how fast it went. Then again, it is something that most people actually wanted and not the folders and notebooks or shoelaces. 900 coins was a bit steep. I hope they offer more in the future. Note to self: save thy coins unless they expire.

But it is at least gold? Alright, that picture just showed an odd color.

 Club Nintendo Awards
I still think those controllers look butt ugly. The mixing of white and gold looks lazy and stupid. They should have either made everything gold, or at least used black, instead of white.

Just registered the XL and Mario Party 9, so I did put a dent in the number needed. I'll be able to get 10 more from MP9 with the post play.
