You can pick from two things. The first year, it was between a Mario hat and a Punch-Out WiiWare game (I picked the Mario hat). The second year it was the special Mario statue with a bunch of Mario characters on it. And the third year it was a set of special Mario pins.

I regret not picking the hat (I chose the punchout game), second year I downgraded to the calendar since I didn't really like the figurine. This year I definitely picked the pin collection.

Each Club Nintendo year ends on June 30th, with the "next" year starting July 1st. So come June 30th you have to be platinum to qualify for the reward. Last year they finally were on track and announced the prizes within a week (prior they weren't announced until like Oct-Nov). From all 3 years, they ship them in late Nov-early Dec. If I were you, I wouldn't register any more eligible games until July 1st, unless they offer a specific award for registering titles. That way you have coins saved up for next year's status. Obviously complete any surveys that will expire, or unless you really want a prize now (like a VC title).

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Well this is unexpected but awesome. Just got this email: Quote: Dear Club Nintendo Member,
As you may have noticed, 1 of the posters in the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Poster Set that we sent to you contained a minor flaw. On The Legend of Zelda™: Skyward Sword poster, there is a design flaw on the outline of the loft wing, to the right of the sword.
We apologize for the mistake and will be shipping a replacement poster to you the first week of February. You can expect to receive a confirmation email when the package is shipped.
Again, we apologize for this error and we hope that you enjoy your new poster.
Thanks again for your membership and loyalty.
Sincerely,
Club Nintendo
I have the poster framed right above me and I can't notice anything wrong with it... weird. But hey, another poster! And props to Nintendo for trying to fix something like this, that's great customer service... especially trying to fix something so minor I didn't even notice it (and still can't tell) lol. Looking forward to getting the replacement so I can figure out what the difference is. EDIT: Found this image of the error: Hidden (Non-Spoiler): show Wow, totally didn't notice that. I guess cause the poster is hanging up on the wall and it's too high for much light to get to it so I can't see that mistake. That's cool that they're fixing that.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Totally inexcusable. How could they let that slip through to print. Ugh.. Hidden (Non-Spoiler): show Just kidding. That's nice that they're sending out replacements.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
New rewards are up!
Games: - Art Academy: First Semester (DSiWare) - 150 coins - Mario Party 2 (Wii Virtual Console) - 150 coins
Rewards: - 3DS Game Card Case - 250 coins
I just ordered the 3DS Game Card Case. I have this big case to hold a bunch of games but my DS games fill that up. I have another case that can hold like 8 games but my 3DS games don't fit in there. So I figured I could use this for my 3DS games. It can hold up to 18 games and it comes with four double-sided covers which look pretty cool. Not sure which cover I will use yet.

I just ordered the case as well. I plan on using the Zelda black cover to start, then I will flip it to the gold cover with the icons all over. I'm not sure if I should get Art Academy or not. The reviews were good for it, but I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Darn it, I really need the game case. Choices, choices! I'm at 220 with 4 surveys to do, I just really want that shirt too. Now I'm having purchase regret for getting MM.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
I've got about 25 surveys to do. I don't think I'll order the case, because I've got a DS bag that holds a good amount of games already (18 I believe). And I hardly ever feel the need to bring more than that. If I do, I have that other game case that holds 36 I believe.
I'm not sure I'll get anything soon. Still holding off for something cool. I got the Hanafuda card set before and haven't touched them.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
I couldn't resist. I grabbed the case. At least I know I won't have any regret since I don't have a case for 3DS games. I know I only have like 4 games, but it will be travel friendly for vacations. I have a DS one for 6 games, but that's it.
I thought about getting those cards, but figured I wouldn't touch them. Most of the stuff I've gotten has purchase regrets, just a few that stick out which don't. I'm glad I feel fine with getting this case as it's something I've asked for via surveys and glad to finally get it.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Sweet beans! My 3DS game case came today! Took out all 3 additional sleeve designs, and left the Legend of Zelda one in!
Time to fill it up with my 5 3DS games and a bunch of DS ones!
EDIT: Almost all my games fit in it, wow. I'm actually read to probably unload a few for my next purchase (Kid Icarus).
While adding my games to the game case, I found 4 register cards! Wow. Super Mario 64 DS (will it still work!!??), Tetris Axis, DQ9, and it looked like the OOT 3D one, but if it is then it should already be registered. Definitely waiting until July 1st, as I'm already way over on platinum this year. I also know I have Fortune street as well, but I was more surprised at the DS ones I found.

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Got mine today as well! I'm using the main design right now with the 3DS on the cover, but I'll probably switch it out soon. Put in all my 3DS games. I have 12 3DS games, but one is in my 3DS, so 11 spots are already filled. So I only have 7 spots left, with Resident Evil filling up one of those soon, and then Kid Icarus after that. Gonna need another case eventually! Also put up a video review (just a quick thing, didn't go too well cause I was dropping stuff lol but oh well): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqLfLR60cyc

For those that don't often check the site, there's a complementary survey available for 10 coins for member satisfaction. It's due 3-31-12, but figured to give people a heads up for a free 10 coins.

St. Patrick's day on CN - Mario has been replaced with Luigi, and the traditional red theme is now green.

New item, there's a Luigi 3DS/DS case on there (his hat). Seems pretty cool, just not sure if it will fit/squish into my pocket.
Anyone picking it up?

Anyone picking it up? Was debating it, but it's too many coins for me and I already have the pouch from Club Nintendo. Still is cool though!

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
I don't know if anyone else saw this, but apparently there were "random" boxes offered today. I was getting ready to get one, but they sold out when I had enough coins. Link with pictures: http://nintendoeverything.com/87267/clu ... x-rewards/I had just enough surveys to enter in/complete to have exactly 300 coins, but after the last survey pushed me to 300, the item was 100% sold out. Must not have been too many. On hindsight, it probably wasn't worth it, it was probably a notebook and a fan or something that I'd been disappointed with. I figured with the Wii U purchase and many games to come, that I could afford to skip holding onto my emergency surveys. It's interesting registering games I no longer have (Spirit Tracks).

 Re: Club Nintendo Awards
Heard about that earlier, but IMO not worth it. With how quickly they were gone, makes me think they were just clearing out old stock they had lying around so maybe we'll get some cool new rewards soon.
Also, I hit Platinum the other day! FOUR YEARS IN A ROW! With all the surveys I still have left, plus the couple of games I bought recently, plus Wii U... I'm basically guaranteed for Platinum next year as well.
