I agree, I have a huge list I'd like to add to that thread. It'll be interesting to see what titles are offered.

How about a way to transfer Wii VC games to the 3DS? Now that'd be up my alley.

That would be cool. If it is in your Club Nintendo account, then you can play that on another system which is registered to that same account. But that might be asking to much of Nintendo.

Well I have been suggesting it, along with what we are about to see, coins for VC games.

I can't get into Club Nintendo on Google Chrome, I keep getting the message that the site is down. So I just tried to access it in IE9 and it works. However, once I logged in and looked at the rewards I didn't see any of these new rewards....

I don't see them either... maybe I just need to clear my cache, though.

I know, Nintendo is not Chrome Friendly. I had a freak out in June for the OOT CD since I didn't get the popup (thanks to Chrome) so when I called I told them I was using it and they got me the CD.

In IE, I didn't see the rewards, I'm guessing it was a leak of what's to come, and perhaps we'll know when it's all worked out.

Here's the confirmation from Club Nintendo. Not available yet, but soon.

Jeremy - you need to clear Chrome's cache, that's how I got it to work.

New design and prizes are up. Overall, I like the new design except for one major thing...

I HATE the new To-Do List. It only tells you the month and day when surveys expire. Some of mine go until 2013 or 2014... but now I have no idea if it's due next year, the year after, etc. That's gonna be a huge problem because I save a bunch of mine so that I can get Platinum each year. This way I have no way to keep track of it all which seriously sucks. So I'm not too happy about that removal at all, now I don't know what surveys to do when or anything.

Are they at least listed in order of which one expires first?

I think they removed the year, so you don't have them sitting around forever. They wised up and caught us that had surveys not due until 2015. If you noticed all the new surveys expire pretty quickly (a few month period).

When they started the "Intent to Buy", I viewed Fossil Fighters by accident, and it's been on my list each year saying it will expire in 2014. I never intended to buy it, or filled out the survey, but it added it to my to-do list.

I also have Photo Dojo Post play waiting in case I need the coins, but in reality I never played it yet since it was free from that initial 1000 DSi points (which I then transferred this game to the 3DS). It now expires in May.

I've wised up as well, and see that I have platinum status, and just going to register any more games until July 2012. Unless it's something like that free OOT 3D CD. I registered Mariokart 7, Skyward and Super Mario 3D land to get the extra bonuses so I can get that shirt. But I still have some games to register in July, along with anything I get from now until then.

Nope, seems to be in random order to me.

I guess the year still does apply. I guess they weren't counting on people like you and I still having surveys valid 1-3 years from now.

I was probably going to get that Photo Dojo one out of the way so I don't lose those possible coins come May (which is all that it says).

They're probably trying to get us to do all the surveys right away so we don't all keep hoarding them and get Platinum status all the time. That's why they changed the survey times to be due much sooner a while back on recent items.

Ever since they started it I'd had more than enough. I never registered games until Club Nintendo started. I went through a few days before the first year ended and added in a bunch and when I hit enough I stopped. I did all the post plays when the year turned, and entered in remaining games; did those surveys. I've just always been ahead due to my backlog. I'd probably just would have hit it if the 3DS didn't give me so many. Next year I'll have the Wii U to add, so should be able to give me a few years.

Yes, my Legend of Zelda 25th anniversary posters have shipped! Looking forward to getting those. I have to decide which posters to replace on my wall. Currently, I have the following posters: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (small), Twilight Princess (small), Animal Crossing: City Folk (small), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (large), Super Mario Galaxy (small), Metroid Prime: Trilogy (large), Video Games Live (large), and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Decepticons (large). Since the Zelda posters are large, I might take down my Transformers one and replace that with one of them, not sure yet.

Got my Zelda 25th Anniversary posters! They are really cool, very nice quality and they look great in person. I'm gonna head out and try to find some cheap frames or something, and then I'll take some pics later today.

EDIT: Gonna get some frames on Monday hopefully, if Michael's has them.

I FINALLY got my Zelda posters framed and hung up! Check them out:

It might be kind of hard to see in the pictures, but each poster has a special part to it. On the first one I posted above, there's a Zelda logo watermark in the bottom right. In the second one, the 25th Anniversary logo in the middle of the poster is red and shiny. And in the third poster, the words "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" is silver and shiny. Looks great in person, I love it! I hope Club Nintendo does more cool posters like this and in the same size, so that after a while I could switch one out with another or something. But right now, it looks cool, it's like my Zelda wall haha (the other big posters I have up are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and then Metroid Prime: Trilogy, and then some small Nintendo Power posters of Animal Crossing and Mario games).

Post Re: Club Nintendo Awards
So, I've got 290 coins in my account, and I'm not sure what to get. I'm not crazy about most of the prizes, and none of the 300 coin prizes are striking my fancy. I'm kind of going between the Peach & Mario notebook and the reversible pouch.

My problem is this: When I get cool notebooks (not that the notebook is really that cool), I'm always hesitant on deciding what to use them for; whatever their purpose ends up being, it feels like a waste. However, I also don't need a pouch for my DS. If I ever take my DS anywhere, I never keep it in a case, and if I did, I'd want it to be something I could fit and organize other stuff in (games, styli, etc.).

I'm leaning a little more towards the pouch, because I could use it to hold a variety of things that aren't my DS, but I'm still not sure. Any idea when new prizes are typically made available? Should I wait for something new to show up? Thanks, my friends.

I have pouch and it fits around my 3DS pretty nicely (even with the powerpak plus). There's some room for other contents like games, just makes the pocket bulge out a lot more.

If you are interested in the coins-for-games, I'm sure there will be a new offering shortly as the current games expire on the 10th. As far as other prizes, those are more randomly available.

If the coins aren't expiring anytime soon, you can always save them for something you'd want, but if they are about to, I'd think the pouch would be better off. I wouldn't use the notebook since I don't have a huge need for one.

The pouch is pretty useful. I use it for my calculator, 3DS, and I'll probably use it for my Vita when I get it.

It's quite big.

I have 3 (Nintendo screwed up, and mailed me 3).

I'll probably just get the pouch. If I had a DSi, I'd consider getting a game, but I just have a DS (and I don't use my Wii).

I say get the pouch, it's pretty nice. I'll sometimes use it for my 3DS and all my games. I even made a quick video for it when I got it, so here it is in case that helps:

Nice video! I haven't bought anything from Club Nintendo yet, but I've gotten to Platinum every year. I have a bunch of Coins! Maybe I'll just get a bunch of stuff all at once sometime, but I'm still hoping for some amazing prize that costs a lot! I'll be prepared for that. :dslite:

Nintendo stated that coins can expire, so you might want to look into that so you don't lose them.
