New 3DS and Wii U Firmware Updates (12/4/12)
So new firmware updates are available now for both Wii U and 3DS. Wii U is now Version 2.1.0U and 3DS is now Version 4.5.0-10U. Both updates have the same description basically: "Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience." For Wii U, people are reporting some faster speeds... like Miiverse being more speedy. Not sure what the 3DS update did.
It is curious though that both were updated simultaneously. Coincidence? Maybe. Guess we'll find out tomorrow maybe if there's something more to it. But just thought I'd give a heads up to people that both systems have firmware updates now.

For me, the 3DS update didn't do anything...

It also was super small. Mine downloaded in like a minute. I started the Wii U one, then did the 3DS one. Well the 3DS one was done within a minute or 2 while the Wii U one had like another 40 minutes.

Usually firmware updates are to reduce hacking/modding, not actually improving the user experience.

If anything seems like it got a little slower.
