 Mario Tennis Open Tournament?
Can I suggest doing a Mario Tennis Open contest at some point as well?

It would have to be an "honors" system one, and also people would have to friend their opponents. Just seems more could go wrong with someone forgetting and such. I can give it a shot though.

What if we all just meet up sometime?? PAX East FTW (I can't believe I just typed "FTW." Wow...)

Hmm, good point. I didn't think of those. It could be a high score contest in the side games. That way we just need to post a pic of our scores.

Re: OFFICIAL NintendoFuse Mariokart 7 Tournament
Re: MTO Tournament, I don't think the game is very good for a tourney, it would need a lot of strict rules in place. I went to, and won, a local MTO tourney a few months ago, but I helped convince the tourney organizers to ban Mii's. You can essentially tailor a mii to have the spin of boo, power of bowser, and speed of yoshi, all in one package. They get retardedly good. Matches don't need to run on "honors" system if everyone takes a picture of their results screen right after a match and posts it to a thread. Failure to take the picture will result in disqualification of both entries, so don't enter if you won't have means to take a picture. With those two things in mind, an MTO tourney can work.

Then you can run into the issue of someone not having a camera, or having a low quality picture. What happens if only 1 picture was taken? Then the other player is DQed?

 Re: Mario Tennis Open Tournament?
Probably not the best game for a tournament.

It might be easier to do a different game such as NSMBU Boost rush highscores or something like that. But a tournament on this would be intresting.

 Re: Mario Tennis Open Tournament?
There's a tournament that's look for participants in Mario Tennis Open currently. You can sign-up at http://challonge.com/mto . I hope to see many of you on the courts. This is for people in the North America region.
