1) Preference for 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hour block?
2) Preference for late morning, noon, mid-afternoon or late afternoon time slots?

It will be harder with about half as many initial contestants. I also will only have 4 blocks and once one fills up users will have to select one of the remaining ones. If you have no preference let me know. Reminder this will be happening on November 10th.

Also, there is one contestant that cannot make November 10th. I would be open to having 1 block on Sunday November 11th if there are 5 others that have this preference.

You can either post this information to the topic, or please PM me your responses. I will be trying to get PMs sent out before I leave on Thursday, so I'd like to have it mostly scheduled before I leave since I will only have about 48 hours to get it finalized when I get back.

No preference for the length of the semi-finals, but I'd prefer the mid-afternoon time slot,

Could you do Sunday?

Uh yeah sure.

1) 90 minutes and 2 hours seem alright. But if I had to choose I'd pick 2 hours.
2) The late morning and noon time slots are perfect for me. I'm not too sure about the mid/late-afternoon time slots because I may or may not have some conflicting plans that may be present during those times on Saturdays, so I can't completely guarantee that I'll be available.

I'd like to play in mid-afternoon or late afternoon probably. I'm on west coast, PST, so noon would be 9am for me. That's a touch early, even this tournament round played out from 10-1pm when it was 1pm-4pm for you guys; so probably around that same time slot is best for me.
I don't have a preference on how long we play, 90 minutes is the happy medium between 1 and 2 hours though so that's probably best.

Sunday is an even bigger mishap. I'll guarantee you that I will not be available on the mid/late afternoon time slots if we decide to play on a Sunday since I have to take care of a bunch of household necessities, such as going grocery shopping for the week and cleaning the house.

2 hour block is good. I would like the mid-afternoon time (4-7pm if possible again)

Noah and anyone that wants a (the) Sunday block, I would need all of those interested to agree on a set block time as well. If we can't then I'm afraid all 4 blocks will be on Saturday.

Anytime after 1:00 would work.

Remaining 24 contestants...

Due to the potential issues arising from "Fox" aka Fox (NSW) [Mii name], if he is your friend on the 3DS I ask that you remove him (at least for the duration of this tournament). If you need assistance with this, feel free to ask; as I myself have removed his friend card.

Anyone witnessing him joining a tournament race should notify me immediately and we will determine any proper measures. If it is found that you brought him into the race you will be disqualified and forfeit any community ranking and/or prizes won.

Also, it has been determined that "Migue" was not a registered member of this tournament. I received a PM from who I presume it was, asking if they advanced. So Noodle-Party will be added to the final 24 list. If flaco does not come forward by Wednesday, It'll be assumed he joined randomly as well and Starfox64 will be added to the semi-finals.

Shouldn't be a problem.

If you see me on earlier don't join, hosting one of the showdown matches. If I'm racing randoms, go for the join (it shows the vs. record).

I just want to give a heads up to Gamer Greg that whatever time slot you dump me in, please don't let it run around 3pm EST - 4pm EST; I'm in the 2nd round of the GBATemp mario kart 7 tournament on the same day that NintendoFuse's semi finals will be held. If I can play around 12pm-2pm, or 4pm-6pm, something like that would probably work out for my schedule.

If none of that works for you, I am FINE to be placed in the sunday bracket for mid-afternoon, no scheduling conflicts there.

Another thing that people can and should do is go to your 3DS home menu and navigate to the Friends List, Settings, Friend Notification Settings, and from there set "Allow friends to see your online status?" to No. This way people won't even be able to see when you're online from the 3DS friend list. I am not 100% certain if this makes you show up as offline IN GAME for Mario Kart 7, but at the very least this will prevent random friends of yours from joining your race straight out of the friends list.

We are hoping no problems arise, but you can never be too sure.

90 min or 2 hour blocks would be nice.
Shorter blocks are more flexible for scheduling.

I can do anytime, with times after 10AM EST preferred.
